The passive programs ASD and Pathway2Prosperity that were promoted in recent newsletters are no longer being recommended by the Life More Abundant Club administration. ASD's funds were/are frozen by the Attorney General's office and a major legal brawl is underway in connection with unfreezing the funds and winning legal recognition for ASD as a legitimate business opportunity. Pathway2Prosperity is alive and well, but due to a recent slowdown in earnings withdrawals (50 days or more), we are not encouraging new members to join at this time. High yield passive income opportuniteis like these are good to know about and, when the timing is right, major profits can be made with them. However, high yield programs are also high risk programs, and they can and do take nosedives, choke up and slow down, implode, disappear in the blink of an eye and get shut down by regulatory powers.
As disappointing as these developments have been, they have renewed my appreciation of plain old humble build your business step by step opportunities, such as our Christian Inspiration Gazette, Once a Month Association and ABC program.
The Christian Inspiration Gazette has a new and improved website and has become a proud sponsor of the Feed the Children private Christian charity. We will be donating 10% of our earnings from the Christian Inspiration Gazette to it.
The final Summer Issue (No. 3) will be sent out next week (before summer ends!). It will be a short issue with the focus on home business opportunity program updates and recommendations.
Abundant Blessings,

Getting Internet Jobs versus Building A Business Of Your Own
by Cynthia K. Lee
As I talk on the phone and communicate via email with prospective and actual members of the Life More Abundant Club, I get to “meet” many wonderful people, each of whom has different experiences with and hopes for home business opportunities.
I realized recently that many of these new “netpreneurs” bring a job orientation to online income generating activities and programs because they've been doing jobs offline, and that's the employment groove that seems the most natural, comfortable and desirable for them.
Most of us recognize the truth in the commonplace saying that “you're never going to get rich working for someone else” and realize that jobs have some very real limits with respect to what you can achieve with them in terms of earnings and personal fulfillment. Jobs are also increasingly insecure in the offline business world. Layoffs are more and more common, benefits are shrinking or nonexistent, and working conditions are often stressful and sometimes even hazardous to one's health.
Ultimately, whether you use the Internet and/or mail order or use your kitchen table or a storefront to display, promote and sell products and services, building a business of your own is one of the smartest, most financially astute, most profitable and most fulfilling things you can do in this lifetime. Jobs can serve as training wheels for us, and keep us going financially, but a business of your own is what is going to let you remove those training wheels and really go the distance.
Jobs are about making money and surviving. Your own business is about you and your talents and your passions and your purpose in life and your career and thriving---as well as making money.
Getting A Job On The Internet
by Cynthia K. Lee
It seems to make sense. Economic times are tight and getting tighter. You want or need to make some extra money, you would prefer to make it from the comfort of your home using your computer, so you start looking for one or more extra jobs online that you can immediately start earning bucks with, in the same way that you scan a newspaper's classified ads for offline work that will let will immediately let you earn income.
But it really doesn't make sense, because the world of Internet home business opportunities is so drastically different from offline job offerings that you are likely to experience a lot of disappointment and frustration, not to mention huge amounts of wasted time and, in many cases, wasted money as well as you stumble around looking for something that is as regular, as cut and dried, and as easy to do as a standard offline job. Although it's natural to seek such familiar and secure types of employment online, it's simply not realistic. This doesn't mean there aren't any decent jobs you can do online. Below you will find warnings about especially scam-ridden Internet “jobs” as well as a selection of legitimate job opportunities.
Clerical jobs such as typing and data entry that are advertised online are notoriously misleading and fraudulent. With most of them, you have to pay a fee to join the program and then you learn that the only way to really way to make money with these programs is to promote them to other naive newcomers to Internet home business opportunities and get affiliate commissions for each sale that you make.
Also, assembly job offers are often big rip-offs. There is only one that we recommend, and it is Magical Gift. It was established in 1992 and offers 32 kinds of projects to home assemblers. You can contact human beings at: 1-860-482-3955 between 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m. The website is: http://www.magicalgift.com Starter kits cost around $40. This is not really an Internet home business opportunity, however.
Filling out surveys, which the Life More Abundant Club does consider a legitimate, free-to-join, no-recruiting-required way to earn money online, doesn't always pay you immediately or quickly or lavishly. You might need to work up to a minimum withdrawal amount, and you cannot “budget” your earnings like you can in offine jobs because it's difficult to know how many surveys you quality for and/or will be sent to fill out. Also, we recommend that you join several survey services rather than just one, and this ads even more complexity to the picture. And by several, I don't mean half a dozen or a dozen; I mean 25-45 or more to maximize your earning potential.
Another legitimate online job opportunity was offered by the MPAM program. About two years ago I bought a report for $20 that told me about this very legitimate program that offered $5 per article for articles you wrote for them on a wide range of topics of their choosing. Oddly enough, I had been a member of the program in the past and had no clue that it offered such a regular and profitable job to its members. Even though a monthly membership fee of about $30 was required, you could cover that by writing six articles and any additional payments for additional articles were pure profit. I was amazed and thrilled by this discovery and realized what a “hidden gem” it was. Unfortunately, this “income track” was closed down last year after operating successfully for several years. MPAM plans to re-instate the article writing income track, but has not yet done so. I'll keep checking every few months. So much for the best “making money just like clockwork” online job I ever came across. With a job like that, you could count on regularly making $300 or so every month by spending 1½ -2 hours a day writing articles. You can also become a phone representative who takes orders and answers questions about merchandise for retailers and catalog companies. You can set our own hours, but you also need to be a self-starter with a high-speed Internet connection and a quiet place to work.

Building A Business Of Your Own
by Cynthia K. Lee
Building a business of your own (online and/or offline) can be far more fulfilling and far more profitable than working on one or more Internet-based “jobs,” but also more costly, time-consuming and insecure. You can find excellent instruction and guidance on the Internet on creating your own business; much of it free and much of it costing a pretty penny.
Here are four keys to successfully creating and building your own business that it took me years of study, reflection and quite a few dollars to "get" and then act upon.
-
Discover and follow your passion(s). Joseph Campbell said to “Follow your bliss.” Still others will say you need to find and follow your life purpose. My own variant on this is: “If it isn't fun, why force yourself to do it?” Yet another way of saying this is: “Do what you love and the money will follow.” The basic idea is still the same. Remember that prayer is always a powerful tool for opening your spirit to deeper divine guidance. Ask, and ye shall receive.
Affiliate marketing, where you promote and sell products and/or services offered by one or more companies, has so many products and services to choose from that you can probably find something that matches your passions and interests. Whether you're an avid genealogist, golfer, gardener, freebies fiend or home business enthusiast, you can probably find programs that let you earn money for promoting and selling related products and services.
Based on your passion or sense of purpose, create a specialty for yourself and present yourself as a specialist. In marketing lingo, this is called: attraction marketing, magnetic marketing, identifying or carving out a niche market for yourself and positioning yourself as an expert in your niche market. And yes, creating several specialties for yourself is just fine. Creating your own product and/or offering your own services will go a long way toward establishing you as an expert or specialist as well as improving your profit margins.
2. Give your business its own name, its own website and its own email address, even if your business consists of referring people to one or more of your favorite affiliate programs. Programs come and go, so don't put all your eggs in one program basket. Your business can grow and develop for the rest of your life, however. Try to create the impression that you are a professional rather than an amateur marketer or specialist and that you are a leader rather than a follower. Even using free blogs, free Squidoo lenses, free websites with free hosting and free email addresses can give you more spit and professional polish if you use them in connection with your business name and mission than if you sally forth into cyberspace with no website and an email like: janedoe2158@yahoo.com . It may not seem fair, but appearances do count, and you will earn more trust, respect and dollars if you convey a professional image. If you engage in offline home business activities, you will be taken more seriously and inspire more trust and confidence if you communicate on business letterhead, use a logo and/or motto, have your own business cards, etc.
3. Don't forget that you are selling yourself first and foremost---not the products or services or programs that you are connected with. You've probably heard the expression: “the money is in the list.” There's a lot of truth to that. Your contact list will be a responsive, profit-generating list only to the extent that the people on it trust and like you and value the information and resources you make available to them.
4. Be patient, persistent and action-oriented. Tenacity is one of the really big common traits of high level achievers.
